1 cup Cottage cheese — creamed
1/4 cup Milk
2 tablespoons Butter or margarine
1 1/2 tablespoons Cornstarch
1 dash Garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon Dry mustard
3/4 cup Milk
4 ounces Pasteurized process cheese — – (sharp Cheddar), s
2 ounces Pasteurized process cheese — – (Swiss), shredded
1 pound Loaf French bread — – cut into cubes

Mix cottage cheese with 1/4 cup milk in a blender until smooth.

Melt fat in a saucepan. Stir in cornstarch, garlic powder, and dry mustard;
mix well.

Add 3/4 cup milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until
thickened, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Reduce heat. Stir in cottage cheese mixture. Add remaining cheeses, stirring
until cheeses are melted. Serve with cubes of French bread for dipping into
fondue mixture.

NOTE: Fondue may be transferred to a preheated fondue pot or chafing dish if
desired. Keep hot during serving by using an alcohol burner, canned heat, or
candle burner.

Calories per serving: About 210 for fondue mixture, without bread.

    8 md Sized herrings
    2 Eggs
    Bread crumbs
    4 tb Flour
    3 lg Onions, finely chopped
    Milk
    Salt to taste
    Sugar to taste
    Butter

    Rinse and bone the herrings. Dip in flour (2 tablespoons), the
    beaten eggs and the bread crumbs. Fry in plenty of butter. Serve
    with onion sauce and boiled potatoes.

    To make the onion sauce melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pot over a
    low flame. Stir in 2 tablespoons flour and add milk, keeping mixture
    smooth. Cook until thickened. Add onions and bring to a boil. (If
    desired onions may be boiled first in a little water). Season with
    salt and sugar.

    1/2 lb Bacon
    1 Egg, beaten
    1 3/4 c All-purpose flour
    1/2 c Crunchy, nugget cereal
    ve dripping, if necessary — ¥
    a small bowl
    aside. Crumble
    combine dry
    wet mixture

    Veg oil
    3/4 c Milk
    1/4 c Sugar
    1 c Hredded cheddar cheese
    add veg oil to measure 1/3 c total. In
    combine dripping/oil, egg and milk- set
    bacon, set aside. In a large bowl,
    ingredients, make a well in center. Add
    all at once; stir just til moistened.
    lumpy, stir in cheese, bacon cereal.
    lined muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake at 400

    6 oz Package of semisweet
    Chocolate chips
    1 Egg
    1 ts Vanilla
    1 ts Almond extract
    1 tb Creme de cacao liqueur
    1 c Whipping cream

    Blend together first 4 ingredients while microwaving the cream until
    just beginning to boil. With blender going add the hot cream and
    blend until well combined. Pour into small sherbet or wine glasses (I
    use the disposable plastic ones) and refrigerate for several hours.
    This is chocolate to the MAX! Few people refuse one of these and few
    can eat more than one.
